This theater used to be the best, BTW. In the 2000s and early 2010s it was the best screen in Denver. Real IMAX, amazing 70mm projection. I have so many good memories. They ripped out the 70mm projector after Interstellar and it went downhill fast. This seemed like a positive change but I guess not.

Isn't this their first 70mm showing though? It was just upgraded. It was just a normal IMAX previously.

Nope. It was THE IMAX 70 location in Denver for years. It’s where I saw The Dark Knight, the first film shot on the format. They are one the oldest IMAX locations in the country. They haven’t used their 70mm capabilities in a while, but it’s absolutely not new.

I see. I've gone to that theater for years (saw The Dark Knight and Interstellar there) and never knew that.
