I am celebrating the ice storm in Austin by making borscht. My coworker gave me a recipe. I've never had it before, so I don't know how it compares, but I think it's delicious. I don't know why it isn't more red? I wish I could have my Ukrainians over to eat some and tell me how I did.

I keep thinking about this and sharing it with individuals I love. It’s a concept that should be taught in basic psychology, parenting or relationship class. It’s about how adults in some cultures criticize each other in a constructive and loving way. (Because we missed that in our culture.)
