Went to Jasper and Miette Hot Springs this last weekend. Absolutely no cell service except for the townsite. It was glorious. A forced digital break that was badly needed. I extended it for another day when I got home.

I'm a really horrible person right now. I just excitedly looked up "Life expectancy of someone with congestive heart failure and common complications the last 6 months of life". It lifted my spirits based on the fact that some 🍊has had this now since 2018 and it's obviously accelerating. 💃🕺

Mood. No one is in. The office is dead silent. The emails are few... thinking maybe an energy drink is in order.

I can hardly wait for tomorrow. Little is off to camp for four days. I am going to clean my house and enjoy 4 days of neat, tidy and quiet. 🙂 I love her to bits and she is a handful most days so this will be like a vacation for me. 😁

Just got home from a mostly lovely road trip in my home Province, Alberta. No electronics, games, videos, news. It's been glorious except for all the "Vote Pierre Polievre" signs everywhere (even though there's no election right now). I enjoyed giving the finger to every single sign lol. SMH.

Someone sends an email to an individual running for Council & cc's others including the organization I work for. We don't respond as there was no instruction, no request, no call to action, no explanation of why we were cc'd. Why would that same sender later lose it because we didn't respond? SMH

WTAF? So these "foreign invaders" aka "CItizens of the US" are not even allowed to go home to their apartments because of LAPD trigger happy fools spoiling for a gun battle? Beyond wrong.
