Just remembered my last trip to Europe. We went to Greece, and everyone there looked and me and just spoke to me in Greek. Hilarity ensued "No! You look so Greek!". Then we went to Italy, and just spoke to me in Italian. "No! You are Italian!" France? English, without hesitation.

Can I also give an extra prop to @patbrittenden.bsky.social for being incredibly biased and holding the right wingers feet to the fire. They get off so easy with the mainstream media and it’s so refreshing to see them flail under the slightest bit of pushback outside of parliament.
