DMing for a player thats been stuck as a DM for 20 years is crazy. Just had a character sacrifice himself by exploding his helicopter into a building, reject a revive, and rolled up a new guy with a sheet and fleshed out backstory within the hour. I think I was more shocked at his death than he was😭
