Last boost I’ll throw on this seeing as day zero is tomorrow. Also thoughts and prayers™ are appreciated because apparently this VCF West is gonna be more of a madhouse than last year and last year was already gnarly as frig.

I actually had an ewasted Epson EcoTank printer of sorts and got it to work but found if you didn’t actively use it, it would clog and become unusable in pretty short order. And those printers are supposed to be the least problematic amongst inkjets.

Wouldn’t be my luck unless things went wrong at the end. Been going to FedEx to print out my exhibit signage for the last couple of years and this year they just outright couldn’t print my PDFs. Thankfully I have a backup option. I wish color inkjets weren’t so troublesome to keep around.

I cry

Decided to check on the CAS subreddit and I guess they’re actually doing a new album. Imma be real, after their absolutely disappointing last release + Jacob having that big foot in mouth moment, whatever this is, is going to have to be a 15/10 album to pull me back in. I’m not optimistic.

Yeah, I know, politicking on main, but this is likely going to end in a very direct hit to me and I’m not gonna have a good time. Maybe I’ll be saved by living in California but I’m not expecting it.

Was showing that I got WinQuake Server going on my backup ThinkPad for VCF and man. That wallpaper. Remember when Windows had whimsy? Before it went all sterile with 8.x?

Thanks to my ex-roommate from many years ago, I can remember the first four lines of the first verse of N.W.A's "Fuck The Police". $34k if I counted correctly. I know some people might say that's not a lot but man, for me that'd be a life-changing amount of money. Even in 2026.

Posting again in the run-up to VCF because like, I'd really prefer not to be in "oh shit" mode if consignment goes badly I'm hopeful that things will go well but there's always the "what if" If nothing else maybe consider it an early birthday high five or something (because that's coming soon)

Going to add to this: If you vote by mail, check to see if you can drop your ballot off at a official drop-off point. If your election office has a drop box, make use of that. I would not mail it right now. USPS is immensely fucked for just *normal* mail at the moment.
