One of the cool things about DC are the legacy characters. Characters who are connected not necessarily by family or circumstance, but by a shared history and view point. A line of creators who inspired the next, each a part of the larger story.

Cuz "self defense" is a whole other aspect of "gated communities" and billionaire bunkers. But they treat hiding like it's aspirational instead of cowardly. While marginalized ppl are raw dogging being out in the paint always.

Poor ppl are getting louder and more unapologetic about struggle and this is leading a new wave of wealth redistribution unlike any we have ever witnessed in our lifetimes.

And tbh I think all my postings about the purposeful manufacturing of trauma for control illustrate a whole other tactic of constructing these potemkin villages in the mind that permit harm as avoidance of in-group moral injury.

But again this is why I'm so persistent on pushing back on "the power of suggestion" which sells marginalized fatalism as inevitable. That learned helplessness is another subconscious potemkin village.
