I love all the lore details of Zyuranger even if I find the experience of watching the actual show to be a bit of a slog. The mecha being *actual deities* that get *banished to hell* at one point during a cliffhanger is probably my favorite bit. Have you seen Jetman tho??

I get the complaints from years ago that comics were oversexed in favor of patriarchal standards but Goddamn if the pendulum hasn't swung way too far in the opposite direction now.

I know of a screen-accurate reproduction of the original filming model stored very near to that exit too.

I've only ever seen the director's cut versions and I can't imagine anything that was changed from the broadcast versions would fundamentally alter my perception of Eva.

Yeah, giving him standard wyvern wings - or at least the modern bat wing interpretation - is just significantly less interesting and weird.

I'm gonna have to disagree but it's honestly the least of that movie's sins so I don't care to argue the point.

I think Smaug-ifying Ghidrah's body plan and general design was the worst decision the American films were obviously going to make. The weird satellite wings of the classic versions are part of the appeal, IMO.
