Tipping shifts the salary responsibility from the owner to the customer. The owner should be ensuring all employees are paid a salary. Tipping obviously provides cheap labor for owners. Then, salary is dependent on the customer with little to no regard to a person's service - most of the time.

Many human beings throughout history fought back by not participating or purchasing from those who don't give a damn about their well-being and hoard. Giving these people and corporations your attention and money makes them more powerful. It's really not hard to figure out.

You fail to realize that participating, i.e., buying fireworks, soccer tickets, food and items specific to holidays, shopping at amazon, etc, props up those who cause the harm. You are perpetuating the harm by funding the people and institutions that cause it for your selfish comforts.

Canada has changed it's immigration policy. If you can establish your family line to a Canadian ancestor, you could qualify for citizenship.
