Sorry, I’m away from home, visiting family. They’re just… arguing, and my dad looks horrible after beating cancer. He doesn’t look like my father anymore. It’s bringing out the worst in me, I’m gonna stay off social media for a bit after this. I probably should have done that yesterday.

I need to stop putting so much effort in my art. Whenever I try to go for something big and grand it just does shit. The idea of doing a comic feels so dumb to do because I know I’m gonna try and put my all in it, and it’s just not gonna go well.

I worry my style is to generic still…

It seems this knight is in quite the predicament. First time trying to draw a medieval helmet.

Im just banging my head against a wall… I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. But the art I make doesn’t taste good to me. All I know is that I’m just slow, and can’t study how others can. To a point where I’ll just be left behind no matter how hard I push myself. It hurts just knowing that.

I’m so exhausted. Idk if I slept well or what, but my whole body feels like it’s being pulled down. I don’t feel tired mentally. It more feels like I just did a huge workout, but I didn’t though.

Gonna be honest I think most of my art is a fluke. No actual skill goes into this, there’s no consistency in anything. It’s just gambling and hoping I do well. And I don’t.

God I see so many hot ideas on this app, I wanna just draw them 24/7 if I could. Alas, mental health, eating, and sleeping are bothersome as hell.
