Part two of 100 Years of Solitude is out in two more sleeps. So I need to binge rewatch part one before then. All eight hours of it. I still think it's fairly close to the source material

Men have stopped complaining about casting of a Black woman and transman as minor characters in a movie about fictional lost soldiers, abandoned wives, god/esses, inhospitablity & senseless wars. They still don't understand why a lone woman on an island transformed men into pigs

The compulsion to pack my bag is strong. Must wait four more weeks. So excited to be attending & participating in Red Dirt Poetry Festival. Going to wiggle my toes in red dirt, and gaze in awe at the nightscapes

I'm at the Should I Change POV stage with my latest manuscript. I read & write a variety of 3rd person. Cannot stand 2nd person. Rarely read 1st person and have never used it for fiction. Am contemplating switching to 1st person stream of conciousness for this work. (sole character in one setting)
