Yep. Earlier this year I was interviewed by Sharyn Alfonsi of 60 Minutes about my Epstein investigation. Subsequently, CBS pulled the segment and fired the reporter. The MAGA buyout of media is aiding the Trump administration’s Epstein cover up.
The New RepublicBanks permitted millions in suspicious transactions tied to Epstein—and former 60 Minutes correspondent Sharyn Alfonsi had the story months ago. But the report would never air. trib.al/ZShZlIS
One more interesting point: this spring I sat down with Sharyn Alfonsi of 60 Minutes for an extensive interview about my Epstein investigation. Subsequently, CBS pulled the segment and fired the reporter. The MAGA buyout of media has unquestionably aided the Trump administration’s cover up here.
Senator Ron WydenBombshell new report out from my investigators this morning spanning our four year investigation into Jeffrey Epstein’s financial records. This deal solidifies the Trump family's immunity from tax audits. Under no circumstances should the American people believe that Trump‘s former personal attorney will stop his schemes to funnel taxpayer dollars to his allies and supporters.
Kyle GriffinFLAG: Trump gets to keep tax immunity for himself, his sons, and the Trump Organization under the new 'deal' struck by Todd Blanche. The new order also reaffirms that Trump won't have to pay any taxes he might have owed the IRS.

Correct. I asked Senator Blackburn to support a Finance Committee subpoena for the Treasury’s Epstein files and she refused. Those files are still being hidden at the Treasury Department.
Joyce White VanceSen Blackburn complains that during the Biden admin, she couldn't subpoena Epstein files. The difference? DOJ was involved in ongoing prosecution/appeals of Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell & the records could not be released until her appeal was finalized. It's disingenuous, at best.
I cannot support a blank check for Trump's illegal war in Iran and fast-tracking deeply troubling and dangerous surveillance collaboration with Netanyahu’s government. I voted no.

The Trump administration is trying to make it easier for Big Tech to build a data center in your backyard to pollute your air and drinking water. We need strong, comprehensive legislation to crack down on the chaos data centers are causing in our communities and I'm working to get it done.
Oregon Attorney General Dan RayfieldA new EPA proposal would weaken the Clean Air Act and pave the way for data center construction – and we’re opposing it. Part of keeping communities safe is making sure our air is safe to breathe, and our water is safe to drink. We’ll keep fighting to protect Oregonians. #orpol
This is another desperate attempt by Trump to make it harder for Oregonians to vote this November because he hasn’t been successful in overturning vote by mail. I will fight this with everything I’ve got.

I have a bipartisan bill to protect reporters in this exact position but no surprise, Trump killed it. I'll keep at it until reporters have these bare minimum protections.
In light of this decision, the federal government should rethink if it can continue to buy Americans' location data without a warrant. I'll keep pushing for black-letter law that would stop the sale of your data to anyone, including the government.
