The jet of the black hole of M 87 with a SeeStar S50. The circumstances were far from ideal during two nights. Lots of high clouds and I had to discard a lot of images but there it is. Especially in the over-sharpened image to the right of the arrow.

The Sun on May 20, 2026, with a #SeeStar S50. I took a RAW film of 1 minute and stacked the frames with AutoStakkert!4. Then I sharpened the image with PixInsight and improved the colours.

The skies are reasonably clear. I took 811 × 20 sec of pics with a #SeeStar S50 on M 51 of which I discarded 41 manually due to clouds. Of the remaining files, AstroPixelProcessor stacked 80% resulting in about 3h 25m of data.
