Silicon Valley, 1989, I interviewed at Oracle (Larry Ellison was CEO). Interviewer picked up my large sample manual: “How long to write this?” Me: “Three months, worked with engineers from inception to product.” Interviewer: “We write a manual a week. Can you do that?" Larry Ellison’s Oracle. Ugh.
Chris⚖️JusticeSon of Larry Ellison. Wicked family. People following the early days of Oracle have known since the '90s. Vicious snakes and hostile takeovers.

Informative article by an established author about not using AI in your writing, as well as not in your publishing ("Don’t incorporate ‘AI' into any part of your publishing process, either: Don’t use ‘AI' editing, don’t use ‘AI' art, don’t use ‘AI' translation…") #writers #writing #AI
John ScalziI've written a longer piece on the book that's been pulled due to "AI" use allegations, what that means particularly for newer authors, and what, if anything writers can do in the "AI" era to prove their work is their own: whatever.scalzi.com/2026/07/31/a...
