if its approximately 1 per box or something of a card that wouldn't have normally been in the pack I don't think it matters if it does, the downside isn't as big as the benefits of less skus, more normal packs being opened, reduced cost for normal printings, increased prices for Collector's singles

eh. They already have things like Bonus Sheet & Special Guest cards in Play Boosters, I'm not sure if it'd be meaningfully different to put Strixhaven's full art Talismans when they have Archmages Emeritus Most Prereleases I go to there's 1-2 of these. IDK if getting ~1 Commander card is ruinous

I think you could still do it for Magic. Just put all the cards that are Collector Booster Exclusive within a normal pack. You can still do the 11+3+1 or whatever Booster Fun odds are for a set, and have like a 10% chance of whatever card the Foil is be some kind of Etch, Surge Foil or Alt Art

It's why I scream when Magic fans bemoan "Oh Magic is becoming like Pokemon now" I WISH. we should all be so lucky!

Yeah, the main benefit of not having Collector Boosters as a separate product but having all those alternate arts in the normal boosters is that the normal versions are all dirt cheap. *Plus* they don't have a mechanical Mythic Rarity, those cards are just Rare
