technically I run all the sites I work on via ddev which makes spinning up containers for projects easy. It's quite memory intensive though when you have are working on 3-4 projects at the same time (that are linked)

just change the character to a horseless headman and call it good. that'll be $250k :P

I kind of miss some old games like VGA Planets that I played when I was still in college but they did a reboot on steam and it uses AI for some of the artwork so I guess if I ever wanted to play something like that i'd have to roll my own 🤣

So what do I do? Never release a game on steam or use AI (to code) and risk a big drop in sales because of the negativity. I don't use AI for art. I don't know what to do

When is AI ok? Ive been using AI since last year, recovering from multiple TIA. If I didn't, I'd last 1-2 hours a day. The AI has helped with recovery and building mental stamina. I've not touched my steam projects because I don't want to tar them with the stigma of using AI.

I don't hate myself enough to play this unfortunately 🤣

reminds me of what happened when I got to play elite on the Archimedes, The game ran like 5x faster than I ever saw it run on my amstrad or on the school BBC's. and it run with solid ships as well. So crazy!

I think it's important to do that for that very reason :)
