Meet the newest addition to #LowerSmiteFarm... our handsome new bridge! 💚 Our amazing trainees have been hard at work installing the replacement bridge, made from recycled materials, by Tessa's Pond this week after the original bridge was washed away in floods. Well done everyone! 👏

We're so sorry to hear today of the passing of Bill Oddie...a friend to nature and a supporter of the Trust. Bill used to cycle out of his Birmingham home to visit #UptonWarren many years before it even became a nature reserve. Thank you for everything you did for wildlife Bill 💚🙏

Spotted in #Worcestershire ✨🐛 Newly-hatched gypsy moth caterpillars disperse by climbing to the top of a plant stem, suspending themselves on a silken thread and then and letting the wind take them wherever it wants to. This is known as ballooning and it's a trick that some spiders use too! 🕷️
