The worst part. I'm not drunk. I didn't drink more than one can. I feel too sad. Like I was letting people down trying to escape, rather than tackle my depression. And this shit makes me feel honestly "What matters anymore but my friends". People have no morals. They don't care. They just don't.

I'm tired. I feel like we have hit a point where morals mean so little. People chase gratification over the stances they should take. When Hank Green is here, at this point... I can't keep having people I admire for ethics. Not one of them stands up for honesty what they say any more. I give up.

But the hardest part is always separation of task. It feels wasteful. Like you waste one when "I can do both". You can't. You need to pick. You'll feel better having the choice. I get it sounds stupid. I've just been here.

Do you look at your art, and clearly see the areas to improve? I look at my audio. I see flaws. So I focus on it. It's not about being creative AND improving. One, or the other. Focus on one, if that helps. Either be creative, but don't focus on improvement. Or improve, learn, and study first. :)

The rule in general is "You buy Nintendo for Nintendo", and they have great JRPGs and other things, but it has to be enough. Otherwise you aren't getting use out of it.

Like. Im just gonna say it. My original post started with "AS BAD AS NINTENDO ARE". You have decided to string arguments together, to what...make them worse? Why? Because where the fuck in that start did i not quantify enough? Did you not read? Did you assume more positivity?

Didn't say MK1 didn't. I said you're using it as a measuring stick for ALL games and you can't do that. Wanna argue that point. Also, I'm a game dev...i do audio, but also know about how games work. Maybe dont' talk down like that.

And that makes this so frustrating to have to go "WELL. Nintendo is here. Doing the BARE MINIMUM amount of evil" Like...yea. It's just how you have to objectively look at this hobby and industry. You can't just lie and pretend it's true in any other way. Like some in the replies to this.

You do not have to "Give it to Nintendo". But you have to be honest, and level headed. And look at what you have. Switch 1, Switch 2. They are the cheap. Unless you buy a retro machine, and then you're talking piracy. Do what you want there. But keeping honest? It's bad out there. Lesser demons.

It's just so fucking sad that by the metric of "Look at the rest", they just happen to be...the best way to get into the hobby is a modern way. Second hand PS5's are ranging higher by the week, PS4s too. Because Sony spiked a physical price scare. MS are literal blood money. And here we are with PC

God. Why are you here, in this world of people who jump me for thinking I am defending Nintendo, but you get my point. Stop being cool. This is my point, yea. It's sad we have to give the lowest rung of this ladder credit. Because this is a FUCKED up ladder. It is filled with nails and spiders.

Instead, just point out that you are getting modern games at 30. Don't need to say more. Most people will ride or die on that. And no, again....you aren't "better off getting a PC at that point". 500 vs whatever PC prices will be in 6 months from now is still a bad look, and PC prices aren't down.

It isn't so hard to make Nintendo look bad that you need to go "This one game is proof all their games will look like this" because even you know you're bullshitting at that point. Yet games like Splatoon Raiders is honestly great, and runs fine. A game that looks great too! See the issue there?

You're jumping to a standard that just doesn't make sense there. You went to the worst possible answer...when games like Sonic Racing Crossworlds runs fine. Not 60, but fine. I get it. Nintendo is bad, but don't lie and set crap standards to make your point sound stronger. It's not worth it.

And i get it fucking SUCKS to read, but PC isn't for everyone. Consoles are easy, fast to set up, and sometimes people dont' want to deal with the shit storm of PC repair and troubleshooting. Its the lesser of evils, with the biggest barrier to entry. Morality comes at the cost of price, and EoU.
