I guess I’m lucky, in that I like the radical changes Burnham is pushing, and I would have voted for them if they’d been part of party manifesto. But the fact that they never were really scares me. This feels a very long way from democracy.

She’s amazing in Movern Callar. Not your typical mainstream film. But a great performance from SM for an excellent director.

I know I’m getting old when my first reaction to that picture is: how was no one crushed to death in there.

And showers.

She was part of a party that relied on fraudsters and dodgy crypto guys. And they’re looking at the left?!

Did anyone behind this film ever watch this show? Sure Robin Byrd was sex positive. But as a young person watching her, the only thing I learned was sex = money. For every 30 seconds of bland discussion, there were 2 mins of adds for sex chat lines. This was NOT Dr Ruth.

Let’s not forget the other 70s show where an adult man hangs out with a bunch of teenagers in their favorite restaurant where counsels them in the toilet. He’s such a lothario he literally dates twins. And somehow is a pillar of the community.

Not sure I’m believing this pic. Unless this is the keyboard for giants version.

So disappointed in Susan. That clearly isn’t Seersucker.

This would be so great. But of course FIFA would have to agree to change the referee assignments. Which they’ll never do if it annoys the great petulance.

A German car

Perhaps there’s a middle ground? Those Chinese EVs are being sold at a loss, even with the cheap indentured labor used to build them. Surely a high quality $40k vehicle can be made in the US? But if makers and sellers in the U.S. don’t adapt now, the battle will be lost.

Ooooooo! Nice to see this happening!

I didn’t dunk on them. I said they often regret not looking deeper at who they voted for. Reform have a lot in common with Republicans in that they conceal their darker motives and who finances them. Both parties seek to dismantle democratic structures. Not sure that lady wants that.

So? How does that mean I’m not listening?

100

When people do a protest vote for someone or something without looking carefully at their values and plans, it usually ends up with voters’ remorse. How am I not listening?

100

They have no idea what they voted for. And when they find out they’ll be far worse off. Sound familiar?

Can you imagine being a manager running a team that was massively underperforming, quitting the job and then saying he was so shocked at what he was seeing he had to quit? It was your team you knob.

In the end the problem was simply where to put the thing. We needed 7 meters away from any neighbor’s window. Nearly impossible in a built up area.

000

Financially it would have worked. Just. Between the UK gov’t grant and a few decent financing options, we could’ve done it (and upgraded a lot of our radiators under the same overall cost)
