I find it hard to stop, even to pause. Today l made myself, and I've sat on a beach for hours doing nothing, other than occasionally getting into water. I've barely even read any words. I've replied to no emails. Not sure I could do a beach holiday for days, but for a moment it's welcome.

17 years ago today, Bobby Robson died. Not only an incredible manager (that brought the team I support unimaginable success before moving on to England) he was an empathetic, measured, intelligent, open-minded man. Not long after he died of cancer, I lost both my parents of C, all great people.
