It's hard to accept that cuz "games" used to be "my thing", especially the big budget JRPG games, but those things are not the "games" that are "my thing" anymore.

Me saying "Why is Yoshi-P so cringe, why is S-E so cringe" is meaningless. These games are not made for me. They are made for the people that just accept that games are that now. And that's fine. I've exited that culture.

Sorry to enter discourse, my actual complaint is: I don't like AAA games. I don't play or like them and I don't want to be part of that culture any more so I shouldn't be contributing my opinion to that discourse. They are not what I want from games any more.
