i just started playing the pokemon heart & soul romhack (basically just hgss shoved into emerald, very impressive) and it reminded me that, despite hgss being a generally wonderful remake of my favorite pokemon generation, i reaaaaaally can't stand the music rearrangements. miserable waste of effort

i occasionally get some bursts of energy working on animations but i think 90% of the time i lack the drive to actually follow through on tying down anything longer than a second or two. if i actually wound up working in animation long-term i would have been fucked
