Occasional artist/writer, lazy as hell. Just a lurky lurker account for general nerdy fandom love

Personally, I'd love to see Al & Luci tear each other's hearts out (metaphorically and/or physically) before grudgingly admitting that they need each other, whether romantically or platonically.

And that clear parallel could suggest a romantic connection developing later on. TLDR; I think it's too early to discount the prospect of romance in Al's narrative yet. There's just too much we don't know about him yet

Whether the relationship will be romantic or not is anyone's guess, but it's clearly building to something. Alastor's tumultuous past with Vox certainly parallels Al's fixation with Lucifer (wanting to impress him, pulling his pigtails etc), the difference being the toxicity is reciprocated.

Charlie. He sees a bit of himself in her. They both bury their fears beneath a smiling mask and it's destroying them. The only character who's managed to crack Al's mask is Lucifer. Luci is, for better or worse, his weakness. It's a relationship that has been signposted as important since the pilot

I think what I'm trying to get at is we really don't know Alastor well yet. We've only seen glimpses of the frustration and anger boiling underneath his grinning mask, but those emotions also seem born out of fear - fear of losing his freedom (Rosie), being dominated (Adam). That's why he respects

I think Alastor's largely motivated by fear & a desire to protect his freedom above all else. When his mask has slipped it's not a monster we're shown, but desperation & terror. We've seen glimpses of it as he tried to wriggle out of his deal with Rosie and during his fight with Vox.

Aw man, I was so tempted to go!! Next year!
