Oddly the D.A. who was upset by our no-bill also complained that he had way too many cases to handle. Um, didn't we help him? 😀

In the grand jury I was in, the district attorneys wete constantly hounding us to true-bill every single case. In the one case we no-billed (vandalism but a very weak connection to the defendant) the DA feigned disbelief and frustration that we couldn't see that the case made perfect sense. 🙄

What happened to those Teslas he loved so much? 😀

I've been on a grand jury. There was always a district attorney in the room directing us to indict in every case. The one time we no-billed a case he acted shocked and told us to reconsider. 🙄

I wouldn't know about that because in my career I saw my bosses in the workplace maybe two hours every week. I was definitely more productive working directly with people than sitting at home.

It seems like that is the main reason that some people want to work at home.

The interview was published in the newspaper. We didn't have the Internet back then. Her actions unified Catholics and Protestants against her. It did nothing to help her cause and made her look like an idiot. Yes, she suffered from mental health problems which became worse as she aged.

Unfortunately her interview days after the SNL incident showed she believed in nonsense conspiracy theories like the Roman Empire continued to exist and function centuries after it had fallen and that the Catholic church orchestrated the Potato Famine with the British government.
