Software developer, but that’s boring so let’s not talk about that. Tell me something interesting and true.

A rabbit hole-in-one, if you will.

For first time parents who are given Nancy Tillman books, it's a real whiplash when you see the bottom right corner of this book and look up the guy.

This is closer. Actual utilization rates aren’t going to be that high (not all solar panels are efficiently installed, you don’t have peak sunshine all day, etc). I’d use a lower ratio of 1000:1. That isn’t all of their electric needs, but it’s like, a third? For one year’s worth? Not bad!

You’re mixing units. A Watt-hour is not the same as a watt! So Pakistan putting down 50 GW of solar needs to be multiplied by the number of hours of sunshine they get.

It’s odd that we’re voting for people for office, but the powers of the office itself keep changing after the fact. After 2028 I’m sure they’re going to tell us that appointment/veto power is actually up to ::spins wheel:: the longest serving county commissioner of Dare county!

Ok? And now that you’ve replaced the band with something metal, it can’t be on tight enough to get a pulse or measure exercise without being insanely uncomfortable.

I have 0 theater experience but will gladly recite lines, sometimes in the right order, in an accent that critics will call “inexplicable” or “inconsistent” for half of that. Critics will, however, praise my performance as “sexless!”

I know you guys are just havin' a larf, but genuinely this opening sequence is how I sold my son (age 7) on the episode. I explained that it's a parody and he immediately asked to pause to see the original before going back to the rest of the episode.

Why are those the only choices?

Also, I’m not sure what efficiency has to do with anything. Suppose, for example, that the government of China is willing to spend lots of money shipping things for free between American ports under ships they control. It’s not cost effective at all. Should we let them?

000

We ship plenty of things from American ports to, say, PR and Hawaii, no?

100

Because the alternative to the American government subsidizing an American monopoly on shipping is a foreign government subsidizing a foreign monopoly on shipping. One that can be turned off during hostilities or wartime.

We have one (good night beach) that is so contentless I struggle to recall a single thing about it, even right after reading it. It’s like I’ve fallen asleep at page 1 and got jerked awake right at the end, but I somehow read the whole thing out loud? Every time??

001

Also, even if you hadn’t, what does that buy you, exactly?

You can tell they have confidence in this Christmas movie because they’re marketing it in July (?)

020

lol you don’t even live here

ahh, sorry! He might not have been in my timeline.

Peter is married and just had a kid. I think the bigger factor is that his background is law, and something tells me he has a bit of cushion from that.

Yes, it sounds great!
