Again, don't know how much this would break elsewhere, but could you add a rule that clones can't use an action in the same turn? Might at least slow it down.. but it would also mean changing the core mechanics?

YES! I think if anything, the rise of AI will, and already has, initiated a 2nd Renaissance. It's unlikely AI will disappear, but I feel it is already running its course and taking the time and effort to make real biological-intelligence art will be even MORE valuable and important moving forward.

Thankfully, from my experience, the support has been stronger than the dismissal, but it is impressive how some will just push-back and naysay with pedantics and edge-cases regardless of what you bring to the table or conversation. Like any showrunner or lead designer, I hold ultimate editorial veto. The community votes within curated choices and suggests fun ideas, but if something strays too far or breaks the core game mechanics/IP integrity, I step in as Wondermaster to guide it back on track!

Right now as a solo builder, beats sit around every 1–2 weeks (with a brief pause while I finish a house/studio move to a new city) with dev updates between beats on Patreon, Discord, YT Lives, & here.. Long-term goal once scaled/funded is a steady weekly pace to keep the story momentum tight.

Community integration is in development, not live play sessions. Mechanics and continuity stay intact while giving the community agency on how our lore and card pool expands—they don't change the core rules. Wild suggestions are welcome but I/Warped Worlds decides what becomes canon and released.

True. Going from vote to next beat or release is definitely a different pace, but the intention is that with active and continual player/audience engagement in the unfolding narrarive and game, watching their influence evolve in real time will bring a feeling of anticipated excitement and reward.
