It's interesting to learn that a word or phrase has been around longer than you think (alternative rock, ATM, download, trucker hat), and to see that a word or phrase that feel like it's been around your whole life has been around EXACTLY your whole life (g-rated).

Tip has been through a lot! The vet x-rayed her to make sure she wasn't tipping over because of an injury, and discovered that she has a BB in her, that has probably been there since her feral years... I tell you friends, I was upset to learn this!

Tip is currently very appropriately named because she's tipping over, having lost her balance. The vet thinks it's an ear infection, so she's getting treatment for that. Here she is having been lifted up to the bed, and then having pulled herself up on my leg so she can sit up without tipping.

Indie/alt comics people, what's your favorite superhero stuff? A lot of us came up reading superheroes even if we didn't stick with it. I made a list of 10. The creators for all of them are important to me; the ones where I noted creators are the ones where one particular artist bowled me over.

Perhaps the most interesting thing about zines is that as soon as someone learns what they are, they're overcome with the need to explain what they are to a bunch of people who are very familiar with them already. This frequently comes in the form of a zine.

I finished the line art on the next page of NO RACCOONS IN HELL! Will I get up in time to do the tones before I go to work? Probably not! It's late! But maybe! We'll see!

David Jonnson is an excellent actor who elevated two exceptionally uneven genre movies, so he's a perfect pick for a Marvel movie.
