I actually recommend your sci fi books to parents of and my relatives who are women, specifically because of all of the strong women characters. I have seen (in MY profession) first hand what strong female leadership can do, and I am convinced that it is something we need to encourage.

I would submit that what we are currently terming “fascism” has been an integral part of the US capitalism system for much longer than even the lifespan of our country, and we have refused to do anything about it every time because of money.
