#SumLuv I don't have strong feelings towards meet cute tropes. Some love them, some hate them, I just want to see them done well. I'm not sure I've used any in my own stories though. Mainly because my current batch of romances are enemies to lovers 😂 adding that to my future writing plans.

#LateNightWrite Harmful beliefs about themselves, yes... But also, Carmine in PSI. She's Lazarus' partner in (sometimes literal) crime but she doesn't really believe he's a guy. Most don't, because it's the early 1930s. I don't have enough space to really go into it here... It's very complicated.

#LateNightWrite It's actively happening in Freyjrulf's world. The sorcery used by the tyrant and his mages is forbidden for good reason. It's basically an analogy for the previously mentioned technology in our world. It gets worse the more you learn, just like in our world.

#LateNightWrite Yes. Friend of the Damned, the first Runner Owen short story I wrote, is centered around a spiritualist. If you know anything about them you know where that's going. I've absolutely thought of stories taking shots at a certain "inevitable" technology but I haven't finished any yet.
