61 years after the Voting Rights Act became law, Texans are still fighting to be counted at the ballot box. Yesterday, the voice of the people was so loud that the Tarrant County Commissioners Court had no choice but to table their attempt to cut polling locations before the midterm election.

⚠️ Update from Tarrant County: The Commissioners Court tabled the vote on cutting polling places after a record number of testimonies, a morning press conference, and broad public pressure. Curriculum The vote will be taken up again on Sept. 1st, so make sure to show up again in a month!
