Picked up a copy of Fire and Ash while I was running errands. So I'll probably watch the AVATAR Trilogy over the weekend. Are we calling it a Trilogy at this point, or because there are presumably more coming is it technically a Saga?

The Shawshank Redemption is one of the greatest anti-fascist films ever made. It's about the triumph of the human spirit over corrupt, oppressive institutions, and how that inspires others not to give in to despair. But I guess we have to throw it away now because Tim Robbins went on Joe Rogan.

Since the new Batman: Knightfall movie is dredging up old discourse, I'll just say that THE DARK KNIGHT RISES wasn't an adaptation of Knightfall, it was (mostly) based on THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS with elements from Knightfall peppered in, but structurally the story follows the template of Returns.
