Yeah I've been thinking of ways to introduce genies for a year or two now. I need to make them "slightly crap" to have them really fit in with the rest of the world.

The associated adventure involves some Meals On Heels employee asking your party to escort her so she can actually deliver food to her racist old grandma. This upsets the company she works for (who like being paid), the racist old grandmas (who are afraid of revenge) and any surviving wyrwolves.

Looks awesome, definitely on-brand to get the necessary fleshy bits first. Great job!

I like this one, especially since the Dragonkin are big on coffee.

Cooking up a fun little faerie tale adventure but it does introduce the concept of "racist old grandmas" so I've gotta spend the night inventing derogatory terms for my twelve fantasy races. Most of 'em are gonna be easy but what the fuck do racist old Dragonkin grandmas call Humans? Cabbages?

The Swordsman Treaties were a series of illustrated manuals depicting muscular men in revealing tights making wide, impressive stances. Because of this, the books that taught people how to use swords outsold swords several hundred times over.

Anyone else seen those ancient Mayan tooth gems? I just wanted to make Half-Elves look like sexy nerdy types but I'm glad there's historical precedent for it. (In lore terms it's so they can eat Elven food without fucking their teeth up. Bark and amber and bone and whatnot.)

Constant retconning and rewriting, basically. Throughout the course of the project you can see where I've made connections between the big main ideas that seem obvious in hindsight. But that new lore sometimes makes old lore make no sense or not work, so it has to be changed.

Definitely, human greed is a grounding element that affects all layers of society, every single person on earth has personal experience with it. The ramifications of that greed is the fun part.

I reckon the typical way to do it is to make magic a genetic gift and have the use of magic be confined to secret societies, like that bitch J.K Rowling. Personally I think it'd be fun to see a magic world coincidentally turn out like modern society. Using pyromancy to make meatball subs, etc.

I love making posts like this because folks are always quick to share their fun weird ideas that make sense in the context of their worlds. Always end up with a big goofy grin.

Makes sense in my brain, I know that any two given celestial bodies orbit each other around a point that's usually a bit outside the bigger one. Chuck enough atmosphere in there and yeah, I'm invested. I hope the ships have sails like Treasure Planet, that was awesome.
