If you have any Lamy Safari fountain pens you should replace the standard nib with the Z53 It is for the aion but it fits Safari (and AL-Star) too and is much smoother, and its like 10 bucks

they also flipped it over to cover the face of the corpse as they worked on it, which might or might not have been intentional, I never asked

it was a really intense but really cool six months and well, it's done to assess damage to the skull, like hairline cracks or see if there is bruises (easier than shaving the corpse and looking from the outside)

I once interned in forensic toxicology and watched a few autopsies and to me, the scalp was always the most startling/upsetting part it's more like if you ripped a mat of velcro apart than subdued squelching
