It is perhaps a good thing that raccoons are not a domesticated animal, because if they were someone somewhere would be intentionally trying to breed this deformity just like we did with munchkin cats when that deformity was discovered.

The idea of this is grand and fascinating but the split between two different cultures combined with the epoch spanning narrative makes me really wonder how the players interact with the story as traditional player characters don't fit. @elainelithgow.bsky.social is there an actual play available?
