As far as I can tell, the failed yet continuing Trickle Down Economics policies that helped lead us to this point is as much cultural as it is the economy. Not sure you can separate the two.

Yeah it’s not about allowing or not. That’s the wrong question. He was democratically voted in by the people (popular vote as well) *after* the Supreme Court said presidents can’t be charged for doing anything illegal in office. I don’t know why people are so shocked he’s allowed to act this way.

Even I know it takes years longer than 6 months for immigrants to get a hearing.

The left gets excited every summer about some seemingly massive misstep Trump has made and republicans always surprisingly (/s) still vote republican. A decade long pattern now. Although, this time it does feel different because war in the Middle East is something conservatives deeply care about.

The intended audience for the thread isn’t the editors of the Atlantic in the end. No one is going to read their long detailed rebuttal on a Fox News article on truth social or whatever. But a reader just might find a rebuttal of the Atlantic worth exploring on here.

Yeah but Olive Garden doesn’t have my government registered name, address, and signature on file to verify I’m not ordering twice, ordering in my correct district, etc. like the voting poll staff has. If they did, I could even securely order by mail like millions of Americans do.

Not sure if they know this but ICE agents can quit. Like, they don’t need to put themselves in life or death situations at all. Ever. Those who pull their gun and shoot are choosing violence over a million other peaceful choices.

Stand your ground laws seem to work out pretty well for shooters legally speaking…

To be fair, we already had cops roving the streets in minority neighborhoods. We had large scale BLM protests about it. Now it’s federal and killing white people as well as immigrants, but it’s not the “suddenly it’s happening” thing that some seem to think it is.

I’ve been saying this for years. We’ve lost the climate change battle and can now only treat its symptoms. And the mass migration that will come as an effect will be the bloodiest problem. The right doesn’t even want legal immigrants in the US let alone those fleeing uninhabitable land.

It’s just Replacement Theory fear mongering.

I keep waiting to see how they are going to try and position Trump for a 3rd term. My guess is they will use trumps 2020 “win” to somehow argue the term limits are void.
