Love Rocky Horror, saw it loads as a teen... I also worked on school shows (costume/props, plus minor roles) when I taught in mainstream. One year, we'd been struggling to get the OK to put on Little Shop of Horrors, so the Drama Lead told our Headmaster we'd do Rocky instead, just to see his face.

Personal experience shows that, despite being built for rough terrain, once sold in the UK, the majority of these vehicles seem to lose all resilience and could be mortally damaged by any kind of contact with a twig or leaf. At least, I assume this is why they seldom give way on our narrow lane...

How will a ban stop someone who didn't have the legal right to drive in the first place?! The only saving grace is that he tried to escape the police and hit a tree, wrecking the car. And can't afford to replace it. That's the only reason he's not driving again - no car. Not the ban. 🙄

In our road there's a guy with no license (he's never even taken, let alone passed a driving test), thus any insurance would be invalid. He was stopped by police for reckless driving, was drunk and high on class A drugs. No prior offences. He got a fine and a ban. A ban. For driving w/o licence.🤯

Sadly, we've v limited FE options in our area, one college dominates, and they've a v poor record with SEND, EHCPs and grade criteria reflecting course demands rather than desired applicants... At least any new options might free up spaces on the basic trades courses. I live in hope...

There has been a clear shift over quite some time now away from academic routes and towards practical, vocational options which I'm surprised some in education have not spotted. It's hardly surprising that reliable earnings are more desirable than student debt, especially now.

Band 3s for the most basic sparky course, I can kind of understand. But for bricklaying?! My lads used to put that course as a backup, now they can't hit grade criteria. It's the same course. I understand supply and demand, but where do the 'traditional' students for these courses go now?

Part of the reason my AP bunnies are struggling to get Post-16 places is the significant increase in high ability students wanting to study courses linked to the trades at college. This has been noticeable over the past 10-15yrs. And entry grade requirements have risen as a result.

He's been known to cheat at golf for years. The cheating is why he plays. It's about power - he can cheat right in front of opponents and they have to let him win because they need the deal/his favour/to retain membership at his club, etc.

If it doesn't happen much, how come I know 3 or 4 women in that demographic it happened to, considering I've always worked in small settings with small staff teams & have a tiny social circle? It's unfortunately still not uncommon, nor is keeping it secret from people who don't feel safe/supportive.

How recent is recent? 2 were about 15yrs ago, and the other was within the last decade. Well into this century.
