It's kind of telling, regarding my relationship with this platform, that I have a post doing high single digit likes, and I'm sitting here wondering where all of this engagement is coming from.

One of my favorite types of oblivious horrible person, are the ones who are a mere fraction of a degree away from quoting a pre-ghostly visit Scrooge... and think they are holding the moral high ground.

I picked up a barely used old baseball glove at a thrift shop last week, and I think I did so only because i felt like breaking in a new glove. I'm pretty sure there is no scenario where it would displace my current glove, it just seemed like fun. Glad my weird mid-life crisis stuff is cheap.

I got compliment bombed at my dentist appointment yesterday, which given my general paranoia about dentist visits, was pretty sweet.

Just circled back and watched that Punisher special presentation, and WOW is it aggressively bad.

Started a new project recently. I am trying to stifle my laughter less often. I was laughing at a podcast recently and I ended up asking myself why it was that I was instictively preventing myself from laughing.

Oh, thank God.

I'm almost annoyed at how much I've gotten done today. I don't make nearly enough to be that productive.

Rewatched Dunkirk last night and it's a deeply annoying movie to criticize because at the end the real complaint is that Nolan decided that he was going to make a movie that I was never going to enjoy. Every complaint I have is just an intentional decision he made for good reason that I don't like.

Watching Inside Llewyn Davis the other day, it popped in my head that the Bud Grossman scene is (Oscar) Isaac seeking a blessing from (F Murray) Abraham.

My most low stakes takeaway from The Odyssey (because I don't have the energy to actually think about it) is that I really enjoy looking at Himesh Patel. Okay, I'm going to bed.
