I just had a trip that took us through rural western Kansas, there were flock cameras out there, we counted maybe 10 along adjacent highways to I-35. what does all of this data collecting really serve? It’s violence without bullets.

Good timing. I’m waking up today scorning lawnmowers for pushing low frequencies into my pillow from miles away while they chop up herbicide and pesticide tainted lawns and blow them into my atmosphere to my great chagrin to breathe later. Permaculture lawns would be a dream.

With you there. Least patriotic feeling ever. It feels tasteless throwing pretty explosions up into the air to ooo and ahhh at while we simultaneously (and perhaps literally adjacently) drop bombs upon others. It pains me such a simple metaphor to our reality escapes anyone. Yet, off they go. 🎆🎇

I could go on, for there are truly just that many reasons to find this practice foolish. And even with my ranting I’m aware you won’t be able to entirely escape it, but in its present form it’s an abominable practice that could use some intelligence rather than greed.

Imagine if every front lawn in America were a productive garden full of gorgeous and hardy flowers, dragonflies and butterflies zipping about. Bees gallivanting along. Nature needs all of its diversity to thrive. Just like us, lest we forget that we too are nature.

Every sterile green lawn covered in herbicide and pesticide is an ecological dead zone where you've chosen grass as the only acceptable living thing. Every lawn should be covered in native perennials like wild clovers and the like. Clover alone is superior to grass as it flowers and fixes nitrogen

It’s perhaps the most widespread wasteful practice we’ve tricked ourselves into considering necessary. This faux miming of the olde rich lawns truly needs to change. Billions of dollars in gasoline and oil Lawns are green spaces, nature doesn’t stop just because you claim you own the soil.

I had a dream about this last night omg. A blizzard turned into a torrential flood. Cold to hot air in the same storm. Wild.

It’s why they rampantly claim “fake news” on legitimate sources, so they can prop up their propaganda. Then immediately claim that we’re blaming them for the same things they’re blaming us for. They invent another side. all they do is prime and project.

I’ve been wondering when the first wet bulb or super storm will occur. There is just so much energy in the atmosphere right now. Literally entered uncharted waters, and I don’t think the weather will play sane forever. Preparation is mostly entirely mental, fortitude of the heart. help neighbors 🌈

I hear this. It’s hard to get family and friends to read my short 3 hour novelette let alone the internet. It’s a little disheartening as I haven’t had anyone buy the book or really read it at all despite handing out copies directl. Books exist forever though. Maybe I can hope mine is dug up.
