🦈 Rebuilt the carburetors, cleaned out the tank, reworked and rebuilt the fuel tap, new vacuum lines, new hoses. Perfect! I did this right… let’s see if it runs. Dead battery. Damn this bike… 🏍️

🦈 Jim Tobul may be doing the routine, but at some point in its life my grandfather flew this airplane. Both during its career on the USS Valley Forge in Korea, and after when it was restored (before it crashed) He was a Marine, and this was Navy, but I’ve seen this S/N in his logbook. #AirVenture
