If I had a dime for every time the media fell for tech bro promises, I’d be well off. The promise of crypto, learn to code bootcamps, blockchain, Tesla charging stations across the county, AI utopia speculation, etc… this is just one more con game from these aholes.

We’ll see who has the last laugh. There are still people in the media who pretend like the Trump regime is a normal, legitimate government. Just as there are people who think this sham Network State broligarchy city is cool. youtube.com/shorts/qAmdi...
Andreessen is already funding this. Why is California Forever any different? He’s just psyched he got one in the US and California of all places. bsky.app/profile/jenn...
Jenny CohnPronomos Capital—backed by Peter Thiel, Marc Andreessen, & Nate Fischer—supports the construction of crypto-based charter cities. Jenny CohnWhy isn’t every large account warning about the “network state” movement? In August, “network state” leader Balaji Srinivassan—a close ally of Peter Thiel & Marc Andreessen—wrote that, “When Bitcoin wins,” it “ends the Fed,” the “battle begins,” & “it's time to build”. 1/

Gil DuránLooks like Gavin Newsom is going to bat for California Forever, the Network State "tech utopia" project backed by Marc Andreessen and other tech billionaires. 70% of local residents oppose it. But the billionaires hired Newsom's favorite lobbyist. Welcome to Sacramento. nypost.com/2026/07/29/u...
