To be fair, I would agree with you, if you had put ANY kind of qualifier on the statement. Like, do I think he would have been LIKELY to agree to radical reconstruction? No. But don't act like you're the omniscient arbiter of counterfactuals. That's disgusting behavior, and you should know it.
