Just had a first poke around Fading Echo, which came out this week but seem to have sold approximately nil. Which is terrible, as it's VERY good and very slick so far. A kinda Splatoon-inspired platform action adventure. You can turn into a water-blob form that absorbs elemental effects from liquids

I feel like the most fitting options are Scooter, Bert, and Statler... and damn if it doesn't sometimes feel like Beaker's in the mix somewhere.

The poor guy had to share a tongue with Bubble when things were going WELL, I can't imagine even godlike power suddenly getting him three to himself!

Discovered the modpack that tries to smooth out Ghost Master's edges and add some new characters, and man... It's reminded me that I really DO enjoy the wacky pseudo-strategy horror pastiche of that extremely flawed game. AI and pathing still suck, but my mourning for the 'remaster' is renewed.

I respect a reviewer willing to say they liked the modern day stuff. I honestly feel the same way as them. There was a lot of awkward dialogue and the ending felt extremely weird, but there was something about the framing device that I still enjoyed.

Anyway I'm just going to say it outright: if you're an indie dev using AI for coding, above and beyond any other objections, what you're telling me is that you have no solidarity with anyone else in games. Not artists, not writers, not other coders. You beleive in personal convenience at all costs.

Welp, finally managed to clear the time to watch the TADC finale. I am content.
