IMO 80% of the reason I love PoE 2 is because the campaign is phenomenal. I mostly blast through it but it's the thing I use to convince people to try it. PoE 1's isn't quite for me (mostly because it's old), but the almost soulslike feel of 2 is why I hope they never let you skip it.

I might have a story about this later but the director told me he would like to change those before 1.0. He implied it would be mostly balance changes/adding more depth, but maybe it'll be less annoying lol.
