i too would be upset if i had to cut my vacation short however, barnes was hired as a nuanced, cerebral chief of police, so watching him square up on a (very calm) reporter and having to be held back is not great also, um, i’d like to file a professionalism complaint

to add to this, the most common people shot by police swat officers are other police officers gun violence is a complicated issue but pretty much everyone serious agrees that overall, fewer guns would be helpful
GoldyBy all accounts, the victims appeared to be bystanders of a shootout between two men—neither of whom apparently were hit. Which highlights once again that any casual gun owner carrying a handgun for personal protection is fooling themselves. Most people (including police) are terrible shots.
