Author & photographer Luke Agbaimoni's project capturing stations & stops on the London Underground tube map. Tubemapper.com 💰 Book,Prints & Calendars ✉ luke@tubemapper.com DM for info

I love capturing those moments where London Underground trains line up perfectly with station posters. With a little patience and a bit of luck, you can end up with some wonderfully amusing and unexpected shots.

Through Open Doors - Arnos Grove I love capturing composition through the doors and windows of trains. At a few stations the train doors officially open to both sides. Here's a photo taken at Arnos Grove London Underground station.

Platform Shoes A somewhat random photo of dancer Viola in ballet shoes on Waterloo's piano key platform. She was on her way to teach a lesson. Those giant keys instantly took me back to the unforgettable piano dance scene from the movie Big with Tom Hanks.

A train curves around the old signal box as it departs Ruislip London Underground station.

Funny how quickly we forget, the first few months of the year seemed to bring rain every single day. Here's a reflection shot from one of those wet days at Arnos Grove London Underground station.

I love how nature and architecture can create their own frames. Here, the darkness of the tunnel surrounds a London Overground train as it departs Stoke Newington station.

Street Photography of the Elizabeth line Some silly fun showcasing my love of capturing photography on the Elizabeth line. Do you recognise any stations?

Spider Man Rides The Tube Not every superhero swings through the city, some catch the tube instead. It took a few attempts to nail the timing, but I finally made the SpiderMan poster look like Spidey is hitching a ride on a passing train. Captured at Oxford Circus station.

Dried Raindrops The dried raindrops on the window caught my eye as I passed Brondesbury Park London Overground station. They turned the view beyond into something that felt more like a painting than a photograph. Second version of this photo.

Out of the darkness, the London Overground train eases into Wapping London Overground station, illuminated by a thin band of light.

Lines and Light I love the way the light falls down the stairs at Golders Green London Underground station, turning an everyday scene into something quietly beautiful.

Under Over Over Despite its name, the London Underground isn't always underground. This was taken at West Hampstead, where Underground trains pass above the London Overground. I've made it a mission to find every spot in London where this topsy-turvy railway quirk happens.

Abbey Road DLR station has confused so many Beatles fans that TfL installed a sign directing them to the real Abbey Road at St John's Wood, North West London. So I thought it would be fun to bring the Beatles to East London instead, staging a tiny reunion cutout from a poster.

Kaneary Wharf and Jude Bellingham Station Ahead of today's England match, here are a couple of photos from Canary Wharf London Underground station and Bellingham railway station, where the station signs have been given a makeover to cheer on the Three Lions

Perched above West Ham Station, a pigeon watches the sunset from the top of the iconic London Underground roundel.

The departing London Overground train casts a red glow across the walls of the Thames Tunnel at Wapping station. Built by the Brunels between 1825 and 1843, this remarkable tunnel was the world's first to pass beneath a river and was originally designed for pedestrians.

Wires It's easy to get distracted by the maze of cables above the platforms. Have you ever wondered what each one does? Photographed at Whitechapel station.

As the Overground train leaves Wapping London Overground station, dappled light dances across the scene, while deep shadows and colourful reflections create a composition that exists for only a moment.
