If anyone watches Silo, I always think of the top left one when they show the simulated screen of one of the fake outsides

seems too often I stumble into a sentence in a book that brings me pause, then to that famous author's Wikipedia page that brings me to their many marriages, one being to a much younger former student. this shit has been rampant.

writers: I'm trying to stop using Docs and Google Drive for everything, in fact I'm trying to be a little more concrete about drafts, photos, if I have a real need for cloud, etc. WHERE do you keep your drafts and writing these days? still use Word? an external? I wanna get weirder.

DID I JUST spend a few years drafting what I thought might be a memoir then shift into what I thought might be a novel ONLYYYYY to decide recently and today that all of it will be poems or something like poems or prep for new poems?!? Art is wild y'all.

I've been watching and reading good sci fi and spec fic and dystopian shit for a few years now (my fave) and stumbled into the Apple show Dark Matter recently. I love it almost as much as Silo and Severence. Very fun multiverse mind bender!

there are so many cool things that could be made in the world. so many small presses taking down big conglomerates, so many zines, so many books and paper making and writing on weird shit. the amount of time spent turning blogs into newsletters into weird depresses me. and I was there for a bit!
