Overhearing the conversations while waiting to board a flight to SFO is pretty insufferable

After a cancellation airlines always try to book you at 6am and are shocked when I asked for a later time. “Why yes, now that I’ve been sitting here until 11:30pm I want to go to a hotel and have to wake up in 4.5 hours fly for five hours, and then land 7 hours before my hotel lets me checkin.”

Reminds me of pitching a startup in 2013. Every meeting in SF the VCs asked “how long until a million users?” In NYC they asked “how long until you can pay yourself?” NYC just isn’t jumping on the bubble.
