Modern Democrats have to operate as if the media is a hostile environment. Not being able to communicate effectively with voters when you don’t have the ready channel of a non-compromised media is actually the problem, and it’s one that Mamdani and other progressives are finding a way to solve.
Gopher Smith, PhD100% disagree. The media didn’t want to give him a win regardless because he wouldn’t kowtow to their whims. He lost because of the bitchyness of mass media. They could have framed age as experience and progress, but they chose to hang him.
