I think my art misrepresents me a lot, 'cause I feel like a lot of strangers see me as easygoing and highly sociable, when I'm in fact chronically stressed and extremely irritable and probably need a "do not interact" sign stapled above my tail

main takeaway today from banana bread, a thicker batter consistency that holds its shape when you disturb/stir it seems to be the way to go. If it's too thin and runny to have impressions left on it, the loaf deflates under all the water weight after it bakes

Playing around with my hubs' banana bread recipe today, trying to see if more flour and a thicker consistency helps it hold its shape better instead of deflating like it usually does when I try to make it. It's cooling now, so I'll know soon enough

Getting through the last couple years on "I don't get to be happy, but at least I don't have to be miserable" has helped a lot with dealing with constant despair tbh

Still testing new configurations, this one stays tenser and allows my fingertip to operate multitouch screens and to touch-type and use a mouse more effortlessly. Drawing and writing this way also feels quite natural

so far, using a mouse and typing feels fairly normal again, I'll be trying writing and drawing today too

Continuing this; honestly, if you have a PS4 that's old and hasn't been updated in a while, jailbreaking that and running pirated software on it forever is a way more effective way to protest this than just taking a break from your PlayStation for no more than a single week
