Not sure what it was. Best guess is like you said- the club was going to do a Friday news dump of the press release, and The Guardian didn’t have anything beyond the fact that an investigation was underway, so the editor punched up the headline beyond the content. Funky stuff.

Disappointed in The Guardian. Felt it important to clarify that it wasn’t why Rodo or Nico got fired (which nobody thought it was), but not important to include the key facts in the headline. This can never happen again, but the club’s changes are vastly different.

I actually don’t mind the Ballpark app! At worst you always know that the ticket is there, unlike Ticketmaster where you have to login to a team specific version of Ticketmaster on the web to get your ticket most of the time. SeatGeek’s embed in a team app OR the main app is the ideal way I think.

My first order of Supreme Leader of MLS would be to go out to all the non-Ticketmaster ticketing people and ask for a large bribe to make them the exclusive ticketing platform of Major League Soccer. I would get bribe money and away fans wouldn’t have to install twelve apps every year. Win-win.

CTRMA is the worst. Oddly enough the best mode will be bike since there’s a bike/ped bridge to nowhere already at Bolm. SWCT to Bolm to Bolm West then onward to Dog’s Head (and theoretically to Live Oak and the airport) will be so much better than the current hell ride along the frontage road.

Are there plans for a Bolm Rd bridge over 183? Would be beneficial to this busway and give communities east of Airport Blvd a real chance at connectivity. Johnston Terrace is kind of an island now, plus long term Green Line access.

The Dog’s Head development is on a desolate plot of land near the airport and close to downtown. It can be responsibly built for housing and commercial development that benefits the city as a whole. It’s archaic to expect such a plot of land to remain untouched. The outcry is confusing at best.
